Blast From the Past – California

I always love it when ‘memories’ show up on my Facebook feed. The first thing that always comes to mind is, “Was it really X amount of years ago?”. It always feels like yesterday, doesn’t it? Especially the older we get.

So I thought it would be fun to see what we were doing in February 2016. It was our first road trip and we were making our way down the coast and then we were working our way back east. But not before we made a trip to Hollywood.

And wouldn’t you know it, we were there just mere days after the Oscar’s. The red carpet was still rolled out and confetti still on the floor of the venue. It was the 88th Academy Awards and here were the winners.

And we have pictures of lots and lots of stars.

Besides hanging out with the stars in Hollywood, we also found ourselves hanging out with this furry star of a crew member. This was his first birthday on a windy but sunny beach in Santa Barbara. Boy could I use some sunny beaches right about now!

We also were hanging out with some other animals at the San Diego Zoo. The koala’s were probably my favorite.

IMG_3438I hope you enjoyed this photo blog post. I leave you with this peaceful scene. What were you up to 3 years ago today? Do share, it’s always better to reminisce with a friend :-).

{HUGS} from the Crew.
